LUXORA ZORROS updated logo needed
scotto did a fine LUXORA ZORROS for me about a year or so ago. It looks beautiful in the large size, but breaks up and gets spotty on the midsized screens.
I hope he, knuckler, FastLane, nmleague, pepeda (our current workhorses) or any of the other wonderful designers will create a new one. Create it entirely yourself...or use some of my suggestions. Just be sure to make LUXORA and ZORROS large enough to show up well and not spotty on the midsized screens like the Team Setup and the Main Scoreboard. Please use Black as primary color...and maybe red and white as secondary. Or pick your own colors to fit the concept. In the new design, if there is some way to incorporate the famous Zorro "Z" slashing through the Logo that would be great...or just place a big "Z" in the middle and surround it with town name and mascot name. No rush...good logos take time...am willing to wait...put it at the bottom of your list of logos to do. Here is scotto's fine logo: Last edited by Eugene Church; 12-23-2005 at 02:18 PM. |

Here's my first Z...
...for Zorros!
I got another in the works. Be patient.

You guys are absolutely brilliant. They are superb, bordering on perfect.
I honestly can't choose between them. I think I will use knuckler for the early league years, then swap in FastLane's as it is a little bit more modern...or I may just alternate them a month at a time. This forum would almost die without you, nmleague, pepeda and a few others. Thanks for keeping the standards so high...and being so prolific...and working you butts off for us. And thanks for being so accommodating and willing to make revisions when asked...and for not getting mad at me, when my suggestion make it worst than your original. You guys often make me have to apologized and eat my works. Thanks for the "Z's". Last edited by Eugene Church; 12-28-2004 at 12:15 PM. |

FastLane:
Would you try the lettering in White or Yellow? Or make the White (around the Red lettering) trim a little wider? The Red is beautiful on the large screens, but doesn't show up well on the midsized screens. IMO knuckler's white is more easily read. Last edited by Eugene Church; 12-28-2004 at 12:34 PM. |

Lettering in white...
...and in the Helldorado font.
See if that is more up your alley...

Thank is exactly what it needs. It will really show up well in the game.
Thanks for the extra work and effort. (psst...don't lose your fiancee...she is more important than logos) I have fallen in love with many a logo, but they don't keep you as warm and cuddly at night. Last edited by Eugene Church; 12-28-2004 at 01:33 PM. |

One last flash of the blade...
...for me, at least.
Lord knows how many alternates you'll get before it's all over. ![]() Anyways, you had made mention of liking this logo before and since it fits the theme, I thought I'd throw it into the ring....

When you get one good logo, you are thankful...when you get three fine logos, you are in "logo heaven"...and you also have mixed emotions...you can't use but one of them at a time.
Definition of "mixed emotions": when your mother-in-law drives over a cliff... driving your brand new Lexus. |
