The ILBL Has Openings (Modern-day league)
The ILBL has 6 teams open. We are in the offseason after 1 season.
Only 6 days of free agency has passed so there are plenty of good free agents still out there. The following teams have openings: San Francisco - Made the playoffs last season by clinching the NL West. Very good lineup 1-9, very good and very deep staff. Should be overstocked with pitching, both bullpen and rotation. Arizona - Was in first place through the All-Star break last season. More of an offense-oriented team but with a decent staff and several good prospects. Colorado - They have a solid lineup and with the addition of a pitcher or two could contend in the NL West. San Diego - Frankly, this team is not in great condition right now, but has some good youngsters and good veterans. Rebuilding is probably the best bet for this team. Guys like Alomar and Segui could get good prospects in return at the deadline. Seattle - A solid team with some good vets (Boone, Klesko, etc.), and several talented youngsters (Kearns, Burell, etc.) Suffered from lack of a participative owner. Minnesota - Another solid team with good vets (Mike Sweeney, L. Gonzalez, Burkett), and several good young guys (Kip Wells, D. Tankersly) Should have a very strong staff. http://www.desotowatch.com/ilbl If you are interested in a team, send e-mails to ilblcommish@hotmail.com or reply to this thread. But, the fastest response will come through e-mail.

Seattle and San Francisco are taken.
Los Angeles has opened up. LA has a very solid team and a good owner brought them from last place at midseason to second place by the end of the year.
