FastLane: Need New York Giants revision
You just did an excellent New York Giants for dcc.
If you can and would, remove the "G" in the background and the "NY" and insert the attached "NY" for the font you used. Do it whenever you can...no rush...finish the other projects you are working on first...I will use the one you did for dcc in my Alltime Allstar Baseball League until then. Below I have attached the "NY" I would like in the middle of the logo. You choose the color for the "NY"...Black is fine with me...Your color selection is excellent. Your help is appreciated...and Merry Christmas. Thanks. Last edited by Eugene Church; 12-23-2005 at 02:18 PM. |

EC, that NY logo you provided for me is pretty pixelated and a fairly small file. If I try to resize it to drop it into the circle logo, the aliasing will cause it to look even more jagged.
I noticed its not the current Yankees NY logo. Is it an older logo that predates the current one? If I cant get a better graphic of that old NY, would you be ok with one of the new NY's dropped in? How do you feel about pinstripes in the background, too? (Since you are having me delete the big G from the backdrop) I thought that would be a nice touch...but I'm good with whatever you want to do. Let me know. Have a very merry....

FastLane, thanks for not using the "NY" that I posted. I didn't know it would be a problem.
Just do the New York Giants logo the exact same way you did it for dcc...just remove the "G". Make everything else the same...it is a very fine logo. Thanks. Last edited by Eugene Church; 12-25-2004 at 01:03 AM. |

FastLane...I apologize...I didn't see the "G" in the logo until I was playing out a Giant game tonite...I thought the right half of the inside circle was supposed to be the "G" and I just didn't think it looked like one. Then, all of sudden on the OOTPB game screen, the "G" jumped out at me.
I hope you haven't redone this logo...sorry for the trouble...it is a very well done logo. If you rework it...make the "G" the darker orange instead of the light orange...and see if it might show up better? Last edited by Eugene Church; 12-26-2004 at 07:27 PM. |

Re: New York Giants logo
hahaha....thats funny, EC....sorry my logo startled you. If you are totally happy with the one that you have, wonderful. If there is anything at all you want changed, let me know...I've got my graphics program up and running right now.

Switch the two shades of orange you use to create the "G"...just reverse the light orange and the darker orange...this might make it stand out a little more. |

How does this work for you, EC?
Don't be afraid to ask for modification....I got time.

Perfect....thanks for doing it...I like it better than the first.
I would have used it...revision or not...it was already an excellent logo. Now IMHO it is "a little better" than excellent. |

Poor...Fair...Good...Very Good...Excellent...Superb...Perfect. Your logos always grade out somewhere...IMHO...between Very Good and Perfect. (I only remember one that was just Good...the one you made when you had been without sleep for quite a while). |

I just noticed you added a white trim to "NY"...very nice addition.
So I kicked the rating up to "nearly" Superb.
