Experienced Owner looking for V6 League
I am looking to join a V6 league. here is what I am looking for
1) A league with history. The longer the league has been around the better. Preference being a league with greater than 10 simmed seasons, and uses Catobase. 2) Not an historical League 3) I would prefer a rebuilding project. Give me the 120 losss team with no cash, no draft picks and the worst minor league system around. If nobody else wants it, I am your man. 4) No Coaches 5) Most importantly, I seek a league with mature owners. If you have an opening meeting this description, contact me on AIM at Yanksfan3333 or PM me in this forum. |

- NAHHBL qualifies here as we have been around since the 1980 season and currently in 1998. (started with OOTP3) Cato didn't come around until well after the league was established so we didn't consider using it. But, with all due respect to the creator, I find it to be a HIGHLY overrated mod 2) Not an historical League - Well we are historical. But we're in 1998 so soon we will not be historical. Probably before OOTP7 is released. 3) I would prefer a rebuilding project. Give me the 120 losss team with no cash, no draft picks and the worst minor league system around. If nobody else wants it, I am your man. - We currently have Boston (23-23) and Seattle (21-25). Neither is a true rebuild, but both are in tough divisions. 4) No Coaches - none 5) Most importantly, I seek a league with mature owners. - I have a pretty strict policy of checking owners for both references as to what other leagues they are in and checking their posts in these forums. I feel we have some mature owners who are pleasant to trade with and even if trades dont happen, don't get pissed for "wasting time" (I've had this happen in other leagues - they feel if you contact them you must then trade them something.) Oh, and we have a unique 4 division per league setup, so you must win your division to make the playoffs - no wild card. |
