Question Ability To Change Stars?

I was wondering if there was a simple way to change a players 'Gold' stars to 'Blue' and viseversa to allow for 'older' players to be viewed as 'Rookies', or youngsters to be 'Veterans'? Custom and Fictional players mostly.

Thanks

If you edited a prospect's birthdate so that he's 26 or older, it would change his blue stars to gold. (You also might be able to edit his MLB service time, but I'm not sure if the "experience" requirement uses service time or games/AB/IP.)

I don't think you can do the same to turn veterans into prospects (gold to blue), because players younger than 26 will still be veterans if they have enough MLB experience.

I imported each MLB player in my Custom League with their STATS all set at zero. So, although they have NO Career Statistics, their actual DOB, height, weight, etc., are all accurate.

Because I impoted them at their REAL age, they have Gold Stars based on DOB. I then converted the players ages, ratings, etc., from the FPS Baseball League I am in to OOTP6.

We add 'real' players that our League is missing, or were over-looked, or are recent Draft Picks. An example is:

MLB Philidelphia Phillies - P Paul Abbott - imported as a 37 years old
My League - P Paul Abbott - converte to 20 year old Rookie with Gold stars

My question is: Is there any way to change the 'star' color without having to recreate the player from scratch?

Thanks,

Well, you've confused me ... but if you changed a 37-year-old with no stats to a 20-year-old and he still has gold stars, other than making sure he has zero service time, I'm stumped.
