Importing 2004 almanac into 2005 league file

The old commish of my league who ran it while I was away split up the 2004 and 2005 league files and I am inquiring about how I can incorporate the 2004 almanac into the 2005 league file.

We are already into the 2005 season and I cant go back and start over so thats why I need some help with this. Another person said that I might be able to cut and paste the almanac over, but I am not sure if that would work.

If anybody has any tips, it would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried just moving the 2004 almanac folder into the one holding the 2005 league?

I didnt think about that and I will try that later tonight when I get home from Thanksgiving dinner.

But here is my next problem that I didnt notice till the other day. Since the previous commish split up the files, the actual player career history is not included for the 04 season in the 2005 season file. Is that information stored in the almanac or is it lost forever since we are already advanced into the 2005 season??
