There is a waiting list. We are going to more of an application type process. We arent just handing over teams to the next guy in line anymore. The commish will e-mail 4-5 guys on the list and ask for applications, as to why you want in the league, how you would make the league better yada yada yada, and then he picks the best guy for the job.
Thanks Scott |

The Texas Rangers are still ripping the ALW with a 17-5 mark and the surprising Washington Senators still sit atop the ALE with an amazing 16-7 record. In the NL the Mets are topping the favorite Braves with a 16-5 mark while the Bravos are under .500. The Marlins win or bust strategy is not paying off so far as they are 9-12. The Astros and Rockies are perched on top of their divisions like usual.

Mike Hampton is 12-0 for the Rangers in just 13 starts while Albert Pujols is pushing the surprising Senators near the top of the standings. Check the site for more news.

...and those wild and wacky Phillies...well, um...they are just plain lousy.
Give 'em a few seasons, though, and then they'll be extraordinarily lousy (as opposed to plain) NBSL Phillies Baseball: Making Losing an Artform NBSL The Phils Fund: Help Your Local Ballclub The Phillies need a new stadium...send checks, cash, credit and any unwanted children with potential in hard labor.
