I highly doubt it. KW only likes guys in their mid to late 30's and guys with injury troubles.

Oh and Carl Everett...He loves that guy!

Pavano is rep'd by Scott Shapiro. I haven't heard any Pavano-Sox rumors. I have heard a bunch of Randy Johnson talk, but those involve Paul Konerko and Garland going to Arizona.

Yeah I heard those too. Just what we need. Lets get rid of our team leader in home runs and replace him with a starting pitcher who may last 2 more seasons, if that.

The key is to get more playing time for Ross Gload.

We should start a petition that until Ross Gload wins the Rookie of the Year Award that he remains eligible for it...then it shall be known as the Ross Gload Award.

The White Sox won't win with Williams in charge. They simply won't.

'Ol Diarrhea of the Mouth needs to learn when to keep his trap shut. I hear some of the dumbest things out of Williams. The White Sox need to find someone who has a clue, I just don't see it happening any time soon.

Plus Johnson would have to approve that trade, and I doubt he would.

Stop the presses!

The White Sox have signed a free agent!

Ladies and gentlemen, Kevin Walker! 1 year, $525,000. $100,000 guaranteed, the rest in incentive clauses. Hey, he had a good year in 2000...

Also, WSCR radio is reporting that Bobby Bonilla will be the new bench coach.

Alright, pick your jaws up off the floor.

Both of those have put the White Sox over the top. I gotta believe they are now favorites to win the World Series this year. Us Sox fans are rejoicing in the streets.

The Pale Hose have signed Dustin Hermanson to a 2-year, $5.5 million deal.

Link

Also, the Sox have officially declined arbitration for Magglio, Valentin and the Brothers Alomar.

Link

World Series, here we come.

EPSN Radio here in Chicago is reporting that the Sox have signed Jermaine Dye to a 2-year, $9 million deal. I'll post a confirming link when I can find one.

Jermaine Dye has had 3 decent seasons in 9 years in the league. Another pathetic attempt at generally managing a team by Kenny Williams. Dye has played fewer than 140 games in each of the last three seasons.

What a joke. I have never seen someone as inept at Kenny Williams.
