NAPL Update - Owners still wanted

Thank you to all the people who already expressed interest in owning a team in the new North American Pennant League. There's still a lot of work to be done, but its beginning to come together. I'm currently in the process of writing a constitution, which is very time consuming.

Just to remind everyone, NAPL is a real-player, modern-day league. The play will start in 2002 with the King Of Diamond's roster set (Thank you KOD for doing an excellent job on them). We will not hold an initial draft, nor will we equalize the finances. We will however, have a salary cap and revenue sharing program, among other things to help parity in the league.

We still need more owners however, including some seasoned GMs to take some of our bottom feeders (Tampa, Orioles, etc).. If you're interested in owning a team in what promises to be an exciting league, take a look at the part of our website that's already up at http://napl.topcities.com/main.htm . There really isn't a lot there, most of the links don't work yet and everything, but you can read the official "press release" about the new league, read more about the league by following the "About NAPL" link. Also, the constitution is going up by bits and pieces. If you are interested in getting a team, please go to the Team Requests page to see which teams have been requested. Then email me at napl_commish@yahoo.com with your top three prefered teams, and I'll put you on the list.
