OOTP6.11 crash that I've had for a while

I've brought this up and I don't really know how to go searching for a problem.

I'm doing a historical league (starting in 1970) with Ankit's database. It's a replay league (I'm checking my league totals) with no financials, trades, arbitration, or minor league free agents.

I click "sim season", attempting to compare the results to the actual 1970 stats to see how close I came, and it would crash after a few weeks. I check the trouble spots (team lineups for double insertions has been the major one in the past), but nothing. All the stats are destroyed and screwed up and I have to reset the league. Attempt the same thing, and the same thing happens. This is annoying and it happens all the time. I would like to get this league off the ground, but I can't. Is there anything I can do?

Okay, I was able to sim an entire season, but no guarentees. It must the database I am using because this does not happen with any other league I have used.

This is the last time I ever ask for help. You people are horrendous, you know that? I ask for some help and I can't even get a "I don't know", just a blank response.

I guess OOTP is just not for me.

There are a couple of posts that mention something similar to this, I have tired to duplicate it but am unable to. Just to let you know that each and every topic or thread is not responded to, if we did that then that is about all we could do. In most cases if the topic is not replied to, at least on my part, it is because I have nothing to add to the thread. As I mentioned there are a couple of similiar topics but no luck whatsoever.

I've had the same problem and it is making the game unplayable. I am getting halfway through my seasons when it happens and I am forced to reset. In my current season I am up to game 94 in the season but after the crash when I went back in all my stats were up to game 79 all the other stats had disappeared.

This isn't an isolated bug either in that it has happened to me on two different computers.

The first one is an Inspiron 8200 with a 1.6 MHZ Pentium4-M processor, 1 Gig of Ram, 20 Gig HD, and a Geforce4 440 Go vid card with 64 MB of Ram.

The other computer which I just got which this has happened on too is a self-built AMD Athlon 64 3000+ processor, 1.5 Gig of Ram, 160 GB HD, and a Geforce 6800 128MB vid card.
