Vintage Titlebout Press Release
I recently bought some boxing mags on Ebay and found a vintage article reviewing the Titlebout boardgame in the October 1980 issue of Boxing Today. It gives a nice description of the game and even includes a 25 year old photo of our illustrious Commandant Jim Trunzo. Posted here now, for your enjoyment. How'd you get your hair to do that, Jim?

Wow. Nice to put a face to the name! Now we just need a picture of you, Tom
![]() Saw an original 1970-something copy of the game on Ebay a few weeks ago. Didn't announce it on here since I wanted to bid on it It wound up going for a ludicrous amount of money that was, sadly, out of my price range.Still kick myself over the fact I had several opportunities to buy the boxed game and never did. GRRR! |

I personally have met both Jim and Tom. They are two handsome Italian dudes in the Dean Martin mold. Only kidding, but on a personal note they are both terrific human beings.

Reading a very old boxing game I saw an ad for a game called Tru-co boxing which after reading the ad was a precursor to the title bout game. If Jim or Tom reads this was the game very diffrent or pretty much the same thing. That would be a true collectors item.

Wow. The last time I remember seeing photos of actual developers was back in the Amiga days when, for the opening of Cannon Fodder, they had the devteam dressed as soldiers.
