Postseason stats not recorded for subs
This has probably been posted, but just in case...
With latest version of OOTP, position players who pinch hit/come in as defensive sub in postseason games are not having their stats permanently recorded. Before advancing to the next season, all the stats for the postseason will be recorded fine except Games played, which will read as zero for players who only come in as a sub. After advancing to the next season, all stats for position players who only entered postseason games as subs will have no stats for that postseason. Does not appear to affect relief pitchers.

I just converted from ootp 5 to ootp 6. In ootp 5, my team went to the Championship Series and played 9 post-season games in all.
Now, in ootp 6, the players that did not get any starts during those 9 games, but did play (having been substituted into the game from the bench), have all zero's recorded for their post-season stats. I found this earlier post of this thread via a search in the thread...seems like this issue has been around for a while. |

oops...ok...sorry about that...I just realized that it hadn't recorded in ootp 5 either
So, the issue is with ootp 5 and not with 6...sorry...should have thought to check on that part first...I had just assumed that the stats would be there in ootp 5.. kinda sucks that they're lost though I'm guessing that the answer to this is "no", but is there any editor out there that would allow me to edit a player's postseason stats? hmm..I doubt that there is, but, couldn't hurt to ask, right? Anyway, my back-up first baseman wanted me to ask on his behalf. Last edited by Filthy Slider; 11-08-2004 at 02:55 PM. |

The Career Editor that's in Pierre's Utility Suite looks to be able to edit postseason stats.. at least the version (6.0.2.1) I have has a Postseason tab under both Batting and Pitching.
