During the offseason my control shot up 7 points and all of a sudden I couldn't get an out, was demoted to AAA, where I still couldn't get an out and gave up in frustration.
I understand where your frustration is coming from, but you have to realize that the engine doesn't care how good you are, you still might have down years regardless of how good your 'ratings' are. It happens year in and year out in the MLB. Just ride out the rest of your contract with your current team, test free agency and find a new team where you'll be used in the Bigs again.

Ok I'm back here for the first time in months. Thought i'd check in on ootp6 about updates and prices and such and stumbled upon ITP. I remember being so excited to buy the game and then i played it for like 2 days and the only time i'd really pay attention to it was when i was killed while playing socom online. So when I saw the patch released i remembered how new things were suposed to be added and such. So i thought about downloading it but figured i'd check what was on it. And I must say i was pretty disappointed to see only bugs were fixed. I too am a programmer, or was, I do understand how long it takes. BUT c'mon if your going to make a new game and promise new things, ya have to be a man of your word. And for those of you talking about this 20 dollar price tag... Look at the new ESPN games coming out for ps2. Usually 50 bucks, for 20. And the gameplay and such is any less on those games that it is EA Sports? Not comparing companies, comparing price to what the game is really worth. If I could right now I would ask for my 20 bucks back so i can go buy one of those games. And even if i don't like it all that much i'm sure i'll still play it a lot more than I did ITP. But a warning to markus, companies who try expanding without the correct tools often collapse. If ya anger the OOTP customers and lose there trust with the release of this, then your sales for that will go down, and then you will. Your a businessman, so you know this already. And I believe you also realize that your sales for ITP2 will be probably less than half of what they were for ITP. And based on the fact that ITP was sorta a test run, I've got a feeling those sales werent to high either. I know your not an idiot, or else you wouldn't be able to do what you do and have gotten as far as you have, so I'll just say i look forward to having the update.
