I don't know who voted 'yes' on this one, but there's a reason online leagues have passwords.

i do this alot

it is completely fair, why should i be punished for being more intelligent than other members of the league who can not hack files

this is also a great way to win titles since it has helped me to several

You're joking right? That statement can't possibly be serious. It is never ok to cheat, there is a reason they want to keep the information locked to begin with.

It's cheating and anyone who does it should be banished from the OOTP community.

It's OK if you are a cheater. If this sounds like you, please find fellow like-minded cheaters to form a league with and leave us alone.

You don't win titles by cheating and surely you'd enjoy winning a title more by not cheating,I know when I've played computer games I've had more fun and got more satisfaction in completing a game without cheat codes than I have with completing it with cheat codes.

I don't think hacking a league file can really do much good. Even if you changed all of the ratings of your players to 100s across the board, those changes will not be saved in your FTP Export. And even if you uploaded the hacked league file to your league's website (which means you also hacked your commish's domain password) it still wouldn't make a difference because the commish is going to sim games off of the League File on his computer, not the one on the website. And finally simming ahead is pointless because players develop so randomly that you can't really learn anything from simming ahead because it will be different everytime. I voted against simming ahead in the poll because it is wrong but it is also a waste of time in my opinion.

Ah, good point. Cheating's fair because it helps him win.

If there's anything I can't understand more than cheating, it's the cheater's complete ignorance to the idea that it's wrong.

It's cheating for sure.

Since it is password protected, it is implied that you have no business 'passing.' Just because you have l33t skillz and can hack through makes no difference. A league is set up for a group of people to compete at playing this game, not at who is the best at hacking the league file.
