Retirement Questions

I have two questions related to player retirement.

1. When the player emails the coach at the beginning of the season, is there a flag that's toggled so he will retire at the end of a season? And if so, can it be added to the career editor so we can turn it off?

I have a player who I've edited in every way - lowered his age, gave him a mega-contract, and used the career editor to edit his service time. He still retires at the end of the season. I want to keep him as he is very close to entering the HOF and achieving record numbers in the league. Are there any other ways to prevent him from retiring?

2. I used the unretire utility to unretire him three seasons ago. Since he unretired once, he's in the career leaderboard twice. Is there a way I can delete the entries? If I could delete the stagnant ones (since he's unretired twice), that'd be great.

the unretire utility doesnt remove the old entry so you cant do anything about him showing twice if you use it.

You cant prevent the player from unretiring once he has annouced his intentions to retire. Now if you wanted to, ive used this trick to keep players from retiring if i didnt want to or from annoucing a retirement I didnt want to see yet. You can change the players age, before you procede to next season to prevent retirement then change it back after. To stop a player from annoucing retirement change the age at start of season, and back after a week or so. I have only seen retirement messages in the first week of the season. So you could back up before starting sim a week and see who annouces retirement then, restore change those players ages and then back after a couple weeks. Thats the way i have done it, I dont like using the unretire utility because it has caused me some issues with duplicate players in Catobase.
