Questions for those who use Catobase

For those of you who use Catobase do you also generate reports after every season from OOTP although you use Catobase? If so, what are the advantages? If not, why (i.e. not needed)?

I don't expressly generate reports at year's end (not even sure where you do that... something like Export Online League? )... but AFAIK, the Almanac feature does pretty much the same thing automagically after you Press The Button, so it may not be necessary.

Thanks for the heads-up. I should have thought of that.

I do have another question about Catobase (I seem to have a lot don't I).

When you go to "Edit Awards" in Catobase, what is the difference between the MVP on the right (which is already chosen for you) compared to the MVP Award *which is on the left* that is blank but has a drop down list?

Thanks.

I think you've got them reversed... on my Catobase, the game-chosen awards are on the left and the user-chosen awards are on the right. "Irregardless", one of them is OOTP's "Batter Award", chosen by the game. If you happened to rename it to "MVP" (as I also have), that's just a coincedence. The other is a Catobase-only, user-chosen MVP award. You could safely ignore it altogether if you consider your batter award the MVP. (Alternatively, you could call the batter award the "Silver Slugger" or something, and have one "best hitter" award and one "most valuable to his team" award.)

Personally, I would consider the batters only award to be the Hank Aaron Award, even though it's winner's haven't been highly publicized since the first year it was given.
Isn't it something how Honest Bud and his cronies made all those big promises and speeches about honoring the great black players of the game like Aaron, Mays, and Robinson then, but a year later it was already completely forgotten? He missed his calling.... he should have run for the Senate instead of buying a baseball team.
