Off topic logo help 1940's basketball league

A fair bit off topic but I figure judging by the great work I have seen this is the spot for logos of any type. For my AllSports Dynasty I am adding TPB2005 when it is released and I would like to get some 1940's looking logos for the following teams in my league. If you find real logos great but fictional would work just as well. Main thing I want are the logos and banners but if someone wants to make the courts and jerseys to go with it that would outstanding. The only request I have is to try and make them look like ones you would see in the 1940's or 50's. Not a lot of splashy graphics or colour, just an old time feel to them.

Here is the link to the thread outlining sizing requirements but I pasted the two main ones below along with a sample logo provided at the site.

All Team Logos should be 125 x 125 and for best results should be placed on a transparent background as is done here with the TPB 2005 Detroit Gears logo

All Team Banners should be 595 x 24 and should have a solid background or image in their background - not a transparent one

What format does it have to be in?

They look good but if someone could sharpen them up a bit to remove some of the blurriness they would be perfect.

I believe jpegs will work fine. If not I can easily convert them to bmp or gif if needed.

I am not very skilled in the art of logo making. Some of these I had to resize so that is the reason for the blurriness and some are just blurry from the site.

I have put them in .gif format.

Here are 3 more.

Let me know if you want me to continue. Like I said I am pretty certain I can get all of them.
