OOTP5 crashing problem
Hopefully it's still okay if I post an issue wth ootp5 in here?
Anyway, the problem I am experiencing is the following: I am currently having an issue with my OOTP5 abruptly crashing when I try to advance to the next season. I have several leagues, and it doesn't seem to matter which league I am using at the time. It begins the process of generating player reports, advancing to the next season, then an error message pops up saying that OOTP is crashing due to an "abnormal program termination." I have never had this problem before, and I've had the game for some time. I am running Windows ME. If anyone needs more to go on, I'd be happy to supply it. Any help is much appreciated. |

Well, you probably heard it before but your biggest problem isn't the OOTP5 one but your OS....
![]() I'd try uninstalling and reinstalling in a new directory then copy the leagues into that copy of the game. How much free HD space do you have?

Yeah, I know all about the stupid OS. Trust me.
I have about 10 gig free right now, but I'm beginning to think it has very little to do with the game anyway. I've tried to run a couple of other games on here recently and they too had very similair problems. I've run virus scans and a few other things without turning anything up, but it's looking more like something is wrong with Windows ME and not any individual programs. |
