Catobase gives html reports in infinitely more detail, and it's a once-a-season type of thing, basically giving you an extremely in depth almanac for a completed season (run it before you hit the "continue to next season" button).
The in-game reports give you a snapshot of the league at that moment in time.

CATO stores historical data in an Access database and output pages and pages of wonderful stats about your league in HTML format. Here is an example.
http://www.hitforthecycle.com/cato/index.html Export (if you are referring to what I believe you are referring to) is the OOTP generated HTML for the current season in progress. http://www.hitforthecycle.com/hftc-ootp/ |

just a question? how often do you update the league export thing, because if you generate player pages, it takes a while to upload everything.

After every sim event otherwise it pretty useless. The best way to do it is to NOT use the built-in FTP functionality of OOTP, but rather generate it to your hard drive, then you zip up the whole directory, FTP it as a zip file, and then extract the bugger on your webserver. A million times easier and faster.
