AHHHHHHHHH!! my PC at home has a virus

and is being taken to my good friend next week who will see what happened. All I know is that this PC doesn't have a video card for games, and I'm not gonna go out and buy another. I'm hoping to have the pc intact, with none of my info missing by tuesday of next week

No it's all in my email account on yahoo. The only thing i'm worried about is that all 60 or so players i have (took about 5 hours to do) will be gone. If so this is a huge blow to the u know where

Just signed up for the league--sounds great--hopefully my stats will be good enough to hang around the bigs for a long career.
What is the estimated start date?

What happened? Did this league die already? Hasn't been updated in awhile and i sent in my player info many days ago. Perhaps I'm just being impatient as this really is a cool idea, but was just wondering if I've secured a pitching spot or not.

The Commish has some computer problems, in a reply to this thread he informed us that it is getting fixxed but the league is on hold until he is able to get it back.

Personally, I cannot wait to see how this goes down. Power hitting firstbaseman here.

He told me last night he's waiting for someone to do something. I'm in his online league at the moment and it's on hold indefinitely at this point.

An idea for the agents would be that there would be multiple agents (Each an indivdual company) and they would compete for the players business. It would be fun as a player to receive a few emails from different agents who are each trying to have you as an agent. This would be more enjoyable then having one agent. It would also force the agent to be the best they can be. Anyways, this sounds like a great concept for a league. I plan on joining as a player but if another agent were needed, I would be glad to perform those duties

Not to rain on the parade, and not to take away from what is really a brilliant idea, but:

What you will end up with is a league most likely full of power hitters who strike out alot. Also, you will definitely end up with the poorest fielding ever seen in any league anywhere. Why? Because I have to believe that the majority of players will pick Power hitting as a strength and Fielding as a weakness.

I think with the remaining ratings that the player cannot select, the commish should draw a rating at random. For example, the player decides not to rate baserunning. The commish should select a rating at random for baserunning. So the player's baserunning skills could be like Tony Clark or like Derek Jeter. This way the league would have more differentiation and randomness.

Who knows perhaps he may be "smoke blown up our arses." Or perhaps he has ran into computer problems like he stated earlier in this thread. I am as guilty as the next guy at not reading an entire thread, but please dont bash a person without getting all the facts.
