Any slow pace OOTP League out there??

Hi everybody,
I am looking for a slow pace OOTP4 league.
Kind of 1/2/3 days per sim would be perfect. The reason is pretty simple: I like to have as much as influence on my team as possible.
I have a 8 years experience in FPSB94, BBPRO98 and OOTP3. I always took responsibility for the league, in serving as Co-Commish and Article writer.

Anyone out there playing slow pace Sim Ball?? Get back to me.

Thanks, Andy.

I saw a league on here that did something like that-should be on pg 1 or 2 I think.

Endruh, I haven't seen anything like this, but I hope you post here if you find such a thing. It would be a totally different experience to go one game at a time, doing lineups and settings for for a particular matchup.

Thanks for the reply Steve.. found it on page 2...
Okay.. I may plan running such a league for my own. I always was in slow pace leagues and really love to setup the stuff for every game, another fact is even if you probably miss 2 weeks because of holiday or a busy work-schedule you won't miss too much. The IFBL I am currently in, runs it with BBPro and will not loose it's entire history which is 10 years (which is quite a lot running it at 1-game-per-one-day-pace.
What I have in mind, is running a league on DAILY-basis with 1-gameday-per-realday from season start to May 15, and August 16 to Season End, and 2-gamedays-per-realday from May 16 to August 15. This would give everybody more time to find his lineups and pull through additional trades during the important parts of the season. I would also like to start either in the early 70s or 80s with original teams and players of that start-year.

Active owners are very important for every league, but I think for a slow pace league two other important things are patience(!) and motivation even if it runs not so well for your team. The timespan for bringing a top-prospects in the big leagues could take 1-2 Real life years (about 2-4 League Seasons), please consider this if you think of participating in such a league.
Wow... I probably wrote too much ...
Anyway... if anybody is interested in participating such a league. Contact me at : endruh@web.de
I'll let you know if I have something in the Internet.

Best Wishes, Andy

NPBL

Hi there,
The NPBL does exactly what your're looking for. I sim 3 days every other day for that purpose (So that owners can micro-manage a little more and prepare thier lineups for each series).
There are a few teams left, so get in while you can!!

Good luck!,

CUBL also does what you described but currently we do not have any openings.

We sim 4 games per day [for the teams with a 4 man rotation]
5 days a week [Sunday thru Thursday]

There is a waiting list which has some names on there... but the waiting list is in no particular order. Check it out if interested.
