OK, thanks guys, that got that working but I have another problem.
I can't get my index page to come up. I have it named index.html so when I type in the web address, http://www.oobl.ootp-leagues.com all that comes up is a white screen and it says "INDEX.HTML" in the upper left corner. How do I get it to show my main page when I type in the address?? |

Depending on whether it is a UNIX based or Win2K based server you will need to name your default main page either "index.htm" or "index.html" (notice the htm or html extensions). If one of those names does not work then just rename the file and the site should work (refresh the screen of course).

Killebrew, i believe you mean which server program you use (Apache is by far the best), not which operating system you run it from.

Keep in mind the internal OOTP html reporter names its index file index.htm
not the expected index.html |

i'm just a wannabe too. but i'm pretty sure its the server program, not the operating system it runs off of that causes that. a quick google search, it seems as though some hosting companies that use UNIX servers allow html and htm as the root default page (also, *.htm was is from the old DOS days of 8-3 file names.)
