Catobase Help
I am having a problem when creating the web site now in the 21st season. When it gets to the point of the schedules and such.... it crashes with an "ERROR 55" message and then it keeps saying that the file is already in use... Any help would be appreciated!!
TIA |

Beats me.
If nobody around here comes up with anything, you might want to go to www.equalnicity.com and post a Support Ticket for the man himself, jcato. You can attach your files for him to look at, and I've always gotten good and timely help when I needed it.

Are you sure none of your html files are open in another program?

Yeah I thought of that and I made sure that it wasn't that.I even rebooted to see if maybe there was an error that kept them running. I submitted to Cato but have no idea what to do now.

Does anyone have any ideas? I don't want to scrap my catobase because I cannot get the web site to produce. I posted on Cato's web site but I haven't heard anything back in almost 3 weeks. I am kind of lost on what to do. Anyone please help. Thanks

Sorry I meant to respond to this the other day when I got back from work but forgot.
I have run into this problem before when I have copied the the files around a bit. What I have done is delete everything in the website directory, except for the css file and then have catobase regenerate everything. Obviously backup your website files before you do this just in case. Hope that helps, Mark |

Well, I tried it and got an error that I thought was error 55 but it's not. It's error 94 Invalid use of Null and it comes when creting the Schedule Splits for each team
Anyone have any idea... Sorry about posting the incorrect error before. |

Thread 1 Thread 2 I don't know if there's been an update since Jeff said it would be fixed in Thread 1... seems like there has been, but I wouldn't swear it. EDIT: Heh, I hadn't gotten to your other thread yet... Damn my sequential mind!

The error 94/Invalid Use of Null that pops up for some of us on schedule splits started with Cato 6.1.1 and exists in all versions up through and including the most recent version of 6.1.4.
For me anyway as I tested my DB with all 6.x Cato versions 6.0.0 is the only 6.x version that does not produce this bug for me. 6.1.4 was the most recent version when Jeff reported he knew the cause of the bug and it should be fixed in the next update. 6.1.4 is still the newest version. Your mileage may vary, but for me the only way to avoid this bug is use 6.0.0 and keep your fingers crossed for the next version to fix the problem. I'm dying for some of the features introduced after 6.0.0.
