? Punching/Punches Missed clarification?
Okay, I know this is basic stuff but I'm a rank noob and the manual's a little unclear.
Punches missed is described as having a "range" of numbers. It's not explicitly stated, but it seems obvious that the Punching (or Counterpunching) number forms the bottom of that range. Meaning that the difference between these numbers is what's important, accuracy- wise (along with I'm sure a dozen other things like CF, etc.) My questions: A. does reducing both Punch and Punches Missed keep accuracy (relatively) constant, while freeing up mor points for clinching/ring movement? B. Does any of this affect how many punches a fighter will throw in a round? Thx in advance The Fat Man |

A) Punches and Punches Missed (and Counterpunching for that matter) work as percentages, so the higher the number in Punches the more accurate, the higher Punches Missed gets the higher the number of punches that can be countered. Punches Missed is subtracted from 78 to determine how many points are spilt into Ring Movement and Clinching.
B) None of these determine the number of punches thrown, that is a function of style, control and agression. Hope that helps, Mark |
