Logos...
As I mentioned earlier, I haven't been doing logos because I was having trouble with the program I had been using. I've contaced JASC and plan to get my PSP 7 working again this weekend. I thought the few of you who miss me filling logo requests would like to know.

That's great news. Your talent has been missed here.
Lately, logo designers have been mighty sparse here. As you can see quite a few requests go unfilled. Thank goodness for the guys that are still active here. |

Yes, there are less logo makers than there use to be. Still, when one goes away another talented guy seems to step into the void. Knuckler and pepe are two guys I admire who have been pretty prolific of late. I think some get discouraged when they make a logo for someone and they don't get a thanks or any type of feedback from the requester. I've had that happen a few times.

Not butt kissing here (but just incase I ask for logos in the future
) I have to say some of the work that the logo guys do is second to none,I have asked for one banner for a league I'm in and dbacks made a great looking banner and was helpfull from the start as are most of the logo guys,I even find myself just coming to the message board to look at the new logos that are posted and in ending all I can say is keep up the great work that you do I raise my beer to the logo guys.

Well, real life takes priority, and I'm just too busy to do any graphics right now. I'd love to get back at it, but I think it'll be awhile.
I promised knuckler that as soon as things settle down over here, and I actually have some more time on my hands, that I'd get back to work on his 1950s set. Unfortunately, though, it doesn't look like that will be happening anytime soon. |

Hey Jeff, one thing I'm not very good at is circle logos. Dbacks was helping create some alternative logos for a 1950s league I am in. Here is an example of one he did for the Braves. Perhaps you could give me a hand with some of the others?
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...63&postcount=5 An Athletics one: http://www.maxvisualstudios.com/~dba..._athletics.jpg A Phillies: http://www.maxvisualstudios.com/~dba...a_phillies.jpg I need logos for the other 13 teams. I like the circle logos a lot with the team name in them, and the league if possible. If you are interested, great, if not, no biggie. Last edited by knuckler; 09-25-2004 at 12:13 AM. |
