I'll put a vote in for HPBL being a very good league. Of course I use to be the co commish and Phillies GM. It is a very good and active league and have tried to model my other two leagues after it. One has worked, one hasn't.
I said this before to my leagues, yes the commish plays a big role in the league success, but without dedicated and active gm's, a league is not going anywhere. As I said I run two leagues, one just started has been very active so far, I run another league that I am unable to keep the league full and messageboard participation has been minimal, although GM's are good with the exports. So that is just an example of one commish having one very active league and one not active league. Just my 2 pennies.

Yeah, plus there is this team in it that totally sucks called the White Sox. Every single year they finish at .500 like clockwork. The owner tries and tries but he can't lose enough to rebuild nor can he win enough to take a division crown. It's hilarious lol

I'm already in the LBA and have had a great time there. I was in the PWBL, and you can't beat a great commish like that fellow they've got.
I'd recommend either one of them to anybody. This leaves only the USBA as my holy grail of leagues. But it's just too high class for me

![]() As for the OTBL, I think the main reason is the fringe benefits.
