Trying out new logos

As my solo Menominee Range league moves into the early 1900's I have decided to upgrade the team logos, while still using my old time skin. I would like your opinions to help me decide which to use. Here is the first to be followed by the second. For the test Im using the same player picture, but each team will have an individual player picture for the final.

And the second. Oh by the way these are a 50% reduction of the actual in game screen.

nmleague, I envy your graphics skills. When you need a logo, you just do it yourself.

Both are well done.

I think I prefer #1 without the bright colors, because it fits the time period better.

The bright colors in #2 kind of jolted me a little bit...they don't seem to go with the black and white player photo in the background.

But if I hadn't seen #1, I would have liked #2.

Good work on both of them. It's hard to choose between them.

(you need to line up the lettering on Crystal Falls and Felch...it's driving me and Monk crazy)

Thanks for the input Eugene, I agree, the first one was my first impulse but then thought of adding the color. After looking at them again I think I will change the default background pic to another group pic and then pull players out from the pic to use for the logos, as I did for the current oldtime logos that Im using. Will try that today and post an example later.
