Just looking for opinions...

Playing around with ballparks images that use overlays to show different highlights of the ballpark. Below is Angels Field.... comments ?

Ohh, I really like that image!!! It really gives you a feel for the stadium. My only problem with the MVP stadiums (Ankit's, I believe) is that the you only get a limited view of the outfield stands and, therefore, other characteristics which would help to give a unique feel to each of these parks is missing. This is most apparent in the case of PNC park. When I play the Pirates it would be really nice to have a good view of the stunning Pittsburgh skyline in the background.

Also, I am looking to move my Tigers out of sterile Comerica Park and back into Tiger Stadium. If you ever have the time, would you consider including some classic older stadiums in your set?

I like it, except for the bottom right corner where the smaller image blurs into the ballpark. It's kinda big and takes a lot of that side up. If it was smaller like the rock foundation on the left side I'd like it more. It's not a bad stadium overall though, good job.

Sorry, Henry, I must be a traditionalist. I like the regular, vanilla fields.

I like them and would be interesting seeing more both old and new.

Stadiums are the one graphical mod...that I can never have too many of. I use Teflon's, your (Henry's) 1995 set and historical sets, and Ctorg's (I believe) so heavily....getting different styles of even of the same parks will be nice.

First one looks good, but you should blend the images to get a better transition between them. It's quite easy with photoshop.

Yes. I just got back last night from being in Baltimore. Going to leave again tomorrow or Saturday for Chicago. To answer your questions, the 1995 set is from the Tony LaRussa & Old Time Baseball Baseball games (I had the OTB CD and Mal loaned me the TL set). I captured the partial screenshots from those games and reassembled them into what you see now. My fictional park set is a combination of a "cut-and-paste" effort using the OTB and TL sets as well as some of my own work.

I do have about 4-5 different ballpark sets. I don't know if everyone knows of their existance, but I can provide links if anyone is interested. I got involved in variations once I noticed I started getting tired of looking at the same "plain vanilla" parks (sorry Mal all the time - and so I keep looking for some other way to present the ballparks. I keep hoping I'll come up with some great idea ...
