Empty Draft

During the offseason of my career league, I reached the amateur draft and had the computer auto draft. I minimized the application and walked away, and when I came back, the program would not open back up. I therefore had to end task, and when I restarted the program it said that I had to finish the draft. However the draft pool is empty and when I try to have the computer finish the draft, everything crashes. I am now stuck with a career league that cannot continue until the draft is finished and an empty draft that cannot finish. PLEASE HELP!!!

Go into the free agent pool and create "young players" and make them eligible for the draft, like one per team. Do you know if the player who were in the pool are on the teams?

That sould fix this for the current year.

The players are on the teams, but it says that I am in round 2 of the draft even thought the draft log says that it ran through the 24th pick in the 9th round. It was set to be a 20 round draft, so does this mean that I would have to create 19 rounds of 30 players?

Not sure, never had the problem. Try creating one per team and change the number of rounds in the league setup. I'll also let you know that having that many rounds each year will create problems down the road. Once total players per team reaches 80 or so, you can(not always but pften) lose sight of some players. The can be found by searching but you won't be able to access them otherwise.

I only had to create enough players to finish the round. It worked. Thanks for all of your help.
