I found an A's (by jdew) and a Phillies (unknown).

I like the baseball in the center of the "P" for the Phillies.

Dbacks, those are perfect. They are so good, it's going to be tought to decide. There is something about the colonial guy that seems to fit into the era. Really, there is nothing else I could ask for, I love them both. Like Eugene said the pinstripes and bells really make it unique. Thanks a ton.

Thanks for the extras Eugene.

Just a little logo trivia....

The Phillies one was done by a professional firm for the Phillies in 1969 for the 1970 season. Its one of two similar designs. The second did not have the stylized likeness of a baseball in the center of the "P". That's because sometime in 1930's (I don't remember exactly when, but after the White Sox used their incredible combination of two C's, a baseball and two bats to spell "Sox") MLB banned the image of a baseball on uniform fronts (thinking that might be somehow distracting to the batter I guess). Since the "P" with the stylized baseball in the center was sewn on the uniform front, technically the Phillies had an image of a baseball on the uniform front in violation of that MLB rule. Someone (it might have been the umpires) filed a complaint. So.... the next year they had to change it to remove the line. A couple years later when the red went to maroon it returned and this time no one complained.
