this might be a stupid question, but how do you create the inner border around the Troy Glaus one? Is it freehand-style?

...and remember, there are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

PK, you are very talented.

However, my preference is to be able to see the details of a graphics.

In these, objects and lettering blend too much into one...just not distinct enough for me...the "Times up" is really difficult to figure out.

But they are well done...I'm just old-fashioned and am not a fan of modernistic logos, banners and graphics.

Phenom: Take the Polygonal Lasso Tool (hold shift down to get straight lines) and make what you want. Then use the paint bucket tool and click inside it with your desired color. Go to blending options and i used Bevel & Emboss and dont forget to switch the Style to Pillow Emboss. I also used a gradient. After your done with one sides of the border, Duplicate it and go to Edit>Transform>Rotate 180 so then you dont have to do it twice
.....hope that helps

EC: thanks for the kind words. And Blending the images and text in is what I was meaning to do so I guess I can take that as a compliment .

I was complimenting you...note I started with "you are very talented".

I just prefer an old-fashioned type of graphics...that was my response to your request for "rate and comment".

You did the blending very well and created very nice graphics.
