Expansion anyone?

The Greatest Generation Baseball League has one expansion slot open - the team is the San Diego Padres.

GGB is entering its 14th season (1954). We started with the 1941 season with no stars leaving for WWII. Using the "extra" players provided by the wartime influx of players replacing those who went to war, GGB expanded in 1946 by four teams. We're adding another four teams using players from the Pacific Coast League and this will be the last expansion of the league for at least 10 seasons.

We use finances, no coaches/scouts, 1-10 ratings and talent scale. We sim a month each week, with alternating 7 & 8 gameday sims on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

GGB's a solid league with more than half the original GMs still participating. If you're interested in more info or want to sign up for the Padres, email me at commish@legendsport.com.

PS - The 20th Century Challenge also is expanding in a few weeks so if you'd be interested in taking on one of those expansion teams, please let me know. You could take both the Padres and a 20CC expansion team as well. 20CC is a fast-play (1 season per week) league replaying baseball history from 1901-2000 and we're currently in 1957, with expansion coming in 1961 (Angels and Senators).
