Looking for 3 or 4 more OOTP5 leagues to join.
Historic if possible. Very willing to rebuild losers. Pirates favorite. Yanks second. Hate the Cubs and Braves. ( and Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Stars and LA Lakers and ... well ... you know )IM - Jadetorc or email (the same at yahoo)

Although we're not historical, nor OOTP5, the San Francisco Giants are open in MLB Network

Hmmm...
Umm ... so you're pretty much no good to me !?! I've already hit up every thread in this forum, including yours. I love your site - but I only take 5 ... I am too much of a control freak to join a league where I can't upload all my micromanaging.

Actually...
I had spent my time getting an 1871-on near-historic league planned [only real players, expansion to 32 teams pre-1900] and ready to run, but I didn't have a single person express interest in playing in it. I figure running one league is about equal to participating in 3 or 4 (plus playing my 1871-on league, a 20's league, and a 60's league in the privacy of my own domicile).

I'm still working a lot on the 1871-on league. I figured out that I can use nothing but real players by starting in 1871 with 8 teams, doubling to 16 teams after 1875 and doubling to capacity (32) after 1880. At the start of the league there are ~14 players per team [5-man rotation, no relievers, 9 fielders], in 1876 ~21 per team, then back to ~14 per team in 1881. The drafts have about 2 per team until 1901, with a huge influx in 1884 (over 11 for each of 32 teams) and a big one in 1890 (6 new per team). Then its 3 to 5 rookies per team per year until the 1990s.
My biggest find was that I could start out a FICTIONAL league in 1871, finish the first year and then it asks me if I want real rookies (of course) and it imports them all just fine! Of course I have to get the original 115 players of 1871 indiviually, but I edit every rookie anyway [I give EVERY rookie at least FAIR talent in every category and make all cup-of-coffees either All-1's or all-2's depending on how brief their stint was. Besides my All-1's and All-2's I also have a category for guys who spent less than ~2 years worth in the league, where I give them most of their skill, but cap their their talent] Its work, but gives way more players (double? more?) than Ankits and 10-times better historical accuracy then using Lahman straight. At this point I could build-a-better player-importing algorithm by myself ... And after all this work in Ootp5, I'm not messing with the convoluted Ootp6 ratings ...

I'll remind you you said that once I've got the site up ...
I still have to figure out having enough pitchers (they only used ~1 per team in 1870's), and I'm building a massive rating spreadsheet for the first 30+ years so that owners 1) will be able to see who's coming up in the future (you may know of Pud Galvin, but do you know George Zeittlein [2.78 ERA in ~2200 IP]) and 2) so that everyone know I'm not screwing with the draft picks ratings ... so much distrust ... -b
