USBBL Has Two Openings
The USBBL has two open teams. Unfortunately we are in the middle of Free Agency so, in order to sign some decent FA you need to act fast. This is a very active league with a great group of owners that like to have fun. We have many live sims each season via AIM Chatroom and trash talking is highly encouraged. Please visit the league site and check out the great team pages and stop by the very active forums. The open teams are Cleveland and Las Vegas. Click on the first link in my sig. I run the very powerful Detroit Diesels.
LEAGUE RULES USBBL uses reduced ratings Coaches/Scouts are turned OFF. Arbitration is enabled. Minor League option years are disabled. DH No designated hitter. Interleague play is enabled in USBBL. ~25 games are played against each in-division team ~11 games played against each in-league team ~6 games played against each interleague team If you are interested in one of the teams, you can post in the forums or email the commissioner. I am the owner of the powerful Trenton Terriers. I thought I would drop in and add my 2 cents. It is a very active league, and participation is mandated. This takes the form of mandatory articles, participation in live sims on Sundays, etc.
This is a great league. We have a ton of rivalries and one visit to our message board will show that the comments get fairly brutal. So for the squeamish or faint of heart, you might want to look elsewhere. Both of the League openings are in the Manifest. The Manifest may be the greatest conference ever known to man. The Manifest always stomps the Continental. The Manifest has always been ruled by the Eastern Division or the BEast as it is known in USBBL speak. Boston and Trenton have won every single division crown since the inception of the league. For the last 2 years, all 4 teams in the BEast have finished +.500. However, there is no hope for Cleveland. If you happen to not follow my advice and pick Cleveland to GM, I will personally make life miserable for you. So you are forewarned. Las Vegas is in the Western Division. They are the traditional doormats of the USBBL. They have never been any good. For the last 4 years, they have had the #1 pick in the draft. Two of the other teams in the West have won USBBL crowns, LA and Salt Lake, and are traditional powers. The last member of the West is Oregon. They have had all kinds of GM problems. Not that they havent had a GM, he quite frankly isnt any good. Sure he will 85 to 90 games a year, but he is a pretender not a contender. He also signs all of my castoffs, but that is another story for another time. 18 teams in the USBBL in 4 divisions. Only the division winners go to the playoffs. We use a schedule balanced toward the division and tilted toward divisional play in Aug/Sept. There is a fair amount of conference play and 6 interleague games against each member of the other league. (This is mostly due to the fact that I make the schedule and I like beating the hell out of Jax, who has never beat Trenton in our yearly series.) So if you are looking for a challenge and some intense rivalries, email us today. Thx- Sunny Edit#1- ^^^^^^Look at Mr. Bigshot up there. 1000 posts. Arent you kewl? Nice job as always as Scotto.

I am the commisioner of this league. I truely believe this may be one of the most active leagues in the OOTP community. I make sure the main page is updated religiously. I try to make sure all the GMs know what is going on in the league at nearly all times, we have daily conversations on the forums, and the guys are all really welcoming and friendly.
Cleveland definatly has potential and could be a contender with some TLC and a bit of reorganization. Las Vegas is not going to contend this year, but like any organization, can turn it around quickly with the correct management. We are actually through the free agency and just about to begin the draft with a live draft tonight at 10:30pm CST. So if your thinking about joining a league, this is your chance and now is the time, it would be a great opportunity to pick up some talent and get to know the other GMs in this league. You can email me at Stankiem@hotmail.com or post on the forums at www.usbbl.com |

I have to say I really enjoy this league. I am in many and this is by far one of the most fun. I wouldn't call Sonny only winning one division title as him beating me since I have 3. This fictional league has a great history and anybody can take over a team and compete with only 17 other owners to compete against. Our current champion came from an expansion team last year to Champion this year. So if you have the skills come on out, you will not be disapointed.

Maybe Microsoft had a beef with Comcast and decided to throw all comcast.net emails in the spam bin.
