Upload the csv file somewhere and I would take a look at it.

Also, be sure you choose the correct OOTP version on the Options screen.

Well, I don't see odd stuff in line 2. Are you sure you are choosing the correct OOTP version?

Yes, this is the first OOTP 6 season that I have tried importing into the database. The other 10 or so seasons are with OOTP 4 and 5.

Are you letting Cato run the exporter or did you do it outside the utility?

I've tried both ways. I get the same error either way.

I did just notice that after I try importing it defaults the option back to OOTP 5 from OOTP6 and I have to switch it back to keep trying.

The only thing I noticed was the second team listed, Los Angeles, has no minor league teams or manager... but I doubt that's it.

Okay, you've got to let the exporters that came with CatoBase create the files. Other versions create files with different fields. The file you posted has too many fields. It should end with at the field 'A L(139)'.

Ok, but if I check the Run exporter box and dont have the files from commishjoe's exporter V6 in the data directory folder then it tells me /league.csv can't be found.

Be sure the League Directory is pointing to the current league folder. When you click Import, CatoBase runs the exporters by passing the league folder and data folder to them. If its the wrong folder, then no csv files will be created and you'll get that error.
If that still doesn't work, then use the cj6_*.exe exporters in the CatoBase folder to create the csv files in the data folder. Also, there's a new version of CatoBase available, if you didn't see it, yet. |
