Audio (sound) mods
Guys I need two things if possible.
First, I was wondering if anyone ever created "better" sounds for OOTP. I was looking the "strike.wav" ect. Second, how do I create my own? I thought I figured it out but they still do not work. I have some .wav sounds that would rock in OOTP but theu do not play in the game and yes, they are .wav files (converted from wma files). All I did was change the file name from wma to wav. |

I'm fairly certain that just renaming the files is not enough. You need to convert the files to WAV format with some sort of audio program.
That aside, I'd make sure the .wav files are the exact same format as the originals in OOTP (16 bit mono, 22 kHz, bit rate 352 kbps, PCM). Not that I know what all that means, mind you... Just seems likely that they're more likely to work if they're an exact match.
