COLFAX BLASTERS logo needed
COLFAX BLASTERS logo needed.
(Colfax is a coal mining center in Ruthlandia) DO YOUR OWN CREATION...or use some of my suggestions. Anything you do will be appreciated. If you use my ideas: Colors: Yellowish with a very light shade of orange and white explosion on a black background...with white lettering with bright orange trim. Put batter silhouette (bright Orange color) swinging a bat in the middle of the explosion. See TrueCardinalFan's logo here: http://thelogobank.net/view_album.ph...umName=album52 Colfax is a small town in northeastern Ruthlandia (named for Babe Ruth) located in the Appian Mountains...population 44,000...a coal mining center...and the home of the Colfax Blasters of the Federal Baseball Association...nicknamed for the dynamite blasters so important in mining the coal...and also for long ball hitters...therefore, Blasters is a double meaning. A little different. I think the batter shows up a little better this way.

Both are excellent...just what I wanted.
You created "an explosive feel" just like I wanted. Colors are very nice, too. Thanks you very much. If possible, could you do something about the lettering...it fades out in a few spots on some game screens. I think it has something to do with true black...the game doesn't handle true black (0,0,0)...someone posted how they avoid this...I'll see if I can find the thread and post it here. If you can't do anything to correct it, the logo is still very usable. disposableheros posted this: "i agree with you completely on the "in-game is important" thing. so far for me, simpler is better. im having a hard time making something complex/intricate that still looks clear in-game. ive been able to overcome the transparency issue with the help of some of the local designers here. its really just a matter of setting black to not be true black 0,0,0 and can be easily overcome during conversion." Eugene, I know you have been learning to use IrFanView, you can fix the transpairicy issues with it as well. All you have to do is open the pic in irfanview, in the image section goto "Enhance Colors" and then change the brightness from 0 to 10 or 15.

you can also change the R,G,B, settings in the advanced tab (lower right corner) when you convert from jpg to bmp. i just changed the default setting there to 1,1,1 instead of 0,0,0.

I've added a few more pixels in the weaker spots and bumped up the type size so these should show up a little better when shrunken.... |
