Uh-oh, HoF crash seems deeper than I thought...
A while back I posted something about a game crash when I tried to open the Hall Of Fame under the Almanac.
Well, I never did get to figure out what was wrong, but I hadn't really messed with that league in a while. I was basically concentrating on various online leagues. I went back to that league yesterday and simulated the entire season. Well, I just attempted to Start Next Season and the same crash comes up. --------------------------------- Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: ...OOTP Software Studios - OOTP Developments\OOTP 6\OOTP6.exe abnormal program termination --------------------------------- This is exactly the way it comes up on my screen. When I click on OK, the game crashes and returns to desktop. I don't lose any information. The game runs fine when I reopen it, but I'm unable to proceed into the next season (and unable to open my Hall Of Fame file). At first, I thought it was something I did because I had copied my old Almanac files into V6 straight from V5. Basically, I converted the league from V5 into V6, but I did not convert the Almanac. I don't even know if you could. But, if you could, I didn't do that. I just copied the files straight from V5 into the Almanac in V6. I assumed that was a problem and well, it might still be because this next season crash happens right after the Generating League Reports popup. I am assuming that the game is having difficulty opening and editing the V5 files that I copied over into V6. Any idea if this is the issue (if it is, any idea what I can do to fix it?), if not, any idea what might be? Thanks for any help. |
