A "problem" with sim?

We have a player http://wlb-ootp-online.com/Reports/p1549.html who played 111 games and missed 40 due to injury, and says he won't sign do to playing time? He missed a total of 11 games, come on! Maybe the sim doesn't realize the diff between sitting out and injury?

Another thing, players sign for less in FA all the time now than teams that sometimes offer more money. Which is fine and more realistic but maybe a reason could be given why he turned down the higher ofer, like "I like the other organization more"?

That is rather interesting and messed up at the same time. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this problem.

The "unhappy with my P.T." is just another way of him saying he doesn't like the club, but i agree it could/should be tightened up.

As for the FA thing, when a player turns down a higher offer i just assume that he liked the other team better. no message is need, it seems obvious.

Well another funny thing happened tonight, one other teams SP's wouldn't sign either, unhappy with his playing time. He made 30 starts. Turns out someone must have changed him to an MR by mistake and said, won't sogn unhappy with playing time. I switched him back to SP as he started all year long and bam, no problem he took offer. I don't like these little glitches.

If someone switched him to an MR, I wouldn't say that was a "glitch". 30 games for an MR would be reason to be pissed....

That is understandable, the scenario outlined in the first post is what I am most concerned about

Yes. I believe the game compares total time played to make the determination of the player's stance on negotiations - and I don't think it takes injuries into consideration. Something that should be looked at and I believe has been reported.

Him too.

Lucky both worked out more or less ok as I was able to resign Lopez in Free Agency and the commish made Beckett a restricted free agent. Beckett probably did end up making an extra 5-8M on it.
