Update league file problems

Hello,

The story: Our league just converted from ootp5 to ootp6. I have a handful of owners that have downloaded the new file (we have a full file and an update file). When they download the update file and extract it into the league file they have problems. The game crashes or does not respond. They all have the correct updates on their game and as commish I have make and load the files the same as I have for ootp5. Right now those owners having problems can only use the full file that takes longer to load. Any suggestions or help on this?

If you just converted then initially EVERYONE needs the full file to begin, then just the updated file should do fine. May need to check this issue with all the GM's.

All owners did load the new file 1st then next time tried the update.?

Yep, they need to make sure and load the update INTO the league folder and NOT it's own.

Yes actually everyone is having this problem. I just tested it on a PC at work.

Steps
1)Unzip the full file
2)Unzip the update file into the cjbl.lg file

When open the game it just stops responding when it loads the league, works fine for the full file.

The update file is everything but the folders in ther league file. It does not make sense as I am doing the same way I always have..help?

My guess is that either:

-it is being installed incorrectly(not likely)
-a file or two that needs to be included is not(more likely)

I say the latter because I am in a league that uses this procedure w/ v6.03 and I, nor anyonelse has had any problems.
