Game crashed after comp. shutdown - help?

Before I shut down my CPU I finished simming a game. As the CPU was shutting down I exited OOTP at the same time. Next time I started up OOTP I loaded my league and it only shows the standings. All the stats are gone and it crashes when I enter any other screen. This is my 18th season and I don't want to start all over. Can any tell me if there any way to fix the problem? Thanks!

Sounds like the game wasn't done closing/saving before the PC shut down, I've got no fix unless you have a backup.

I just had the same thing happen to me with the standings and no stats and stuff, but don't remember shutting my computer down while the last time i was playing. Hell, I haven't shut my computer down in probably a month. I don't remember doing anything out of the ordinary last time I closed my game (yesterday.) I dunno I guess there's no hope in recovering the save file, and maybe something freaky happened while I was saving my game last time, but I thought I'd just let you know in case other people have had this happen.

Have you moved or deleted any files? Maybe rebooting your system would help

I don't remember doing anything with the files, but I have been adding a bunch of photos lately so maybe I screwed something up there. What files do you think I should check to see if they are missing?
