Need ideas for a Simpsons roster set
Anyone have ideas for stuff like DOB, who should play what position. Any ideas are welcome.
Also, what should I do for the players who only have one name. Like Kearney. What should go in the LastName column? Last edited by andjbock; 07-27-2004 at 09:20 PM. |

He'll be a slugger. He does play RF (loses the spot to Darryl Strawberry) though.

great idea, are you going to put players in their "real" age? So Mr Burns would be like 150 years old or something.

Heh, big Simpsons fan, here is a bunch of guys..
Lenny - Right Field (Should have identical stats) Carl - Left Field (Should have identical stats) Barney - Backup catcher Pedro (The Bumblebee Man) - Rubber-armed pitcher Abe Simpson - First base Herbert Powell - First baseman (Like Homer, but better at everything) Montgomery Burns - Manager Waylon Smithers - Assistant manager? Seymour Skinner - Third base Groundskeeper Willy - Blazingly fast centerfielder (Nothing faster than a greased Scotsman!) Milhouse - Shortstop (Makes a lot of errors) Nelson Muntz - Slugging corner outfielder Martin Prince - Great batting eye, nothing else Ralph Wiggum - Third baseman (Makes a lot of errors) Bleeding Gums Murphey - Closer Jasper - Relief pitcher Herman - Relief pitcher, terrible fielder (One arm..) Ned Flanders - Starting pitcher, incredibly lucky (Blessed?) Rod and Tod Flanders - Shortstop and Second Base Apu Nahasapeemapetilon - Third base Kirk Van Houten - Second Base (Poor fielder) Cletus the Slack-Jawed Yokel - Fireballing closer (Old country hardball..) Cecil Terwilliger (Sideshow Bob's brother) - Second Base Diamond Joe Quimby - Right fielder, incredible salary demands Eddy - Third base (Identical stats to Lou) Lou - First base Mr. Teeny - Obscenely fast slick fielding shortstop (He's a monkey!) Kent Brockman - Play by play Reverend Lovejoy - Catcher Rabbi Hyman Krustofsky - Opposing Catcher Troy McClure - Plays every position Snake - Contact hitting second baseman Julius Hibbert - Overpaid backup catcher Lionel Hutz - Utility infielder Professor John Frink - Great batting eye, first baseman Comic Book Guy - Slugging corner outfielder Disco Stu - Underpaid outfielder (Doesn't advertise..) Otto - Inconsistant third baseman Teams could include the Springfield Isotopes and the Capital City Capitals |

I see the Captain as a SP with a nasty spiteball and Dr. Marvin Monroe as a slugger on roids. Adil, the exchange student(spy) from Albania should be a talking Catcher. Ms. Botz the Babysitter is a MR with a nasty Attitude. Karl Homers assistant is a underrated 2B with all the talent in the world. Captain Lance Murdock is hustle of a CF and a prone.Roger Meyers, Jr is a Owner. Artie Ziff is a skinny Reliever on the bottom of the picking order. Emily Winthrop's is a Manager.
