The Virginia... what?
Hello all... I'm going into the future with a dynasty (in addition to my Red Sox one), and I'm wondering something -- if Virginia gets the Expos, any ideas what the nickname and colors would be? Would they stay the Expos?
Any suggestions? I've heard mention of Virginia Generals, but that's kind of plain. What about if Vegas gets the team? Looking for some creative suggestions -- and a cool logo if anyone is so inclined... Thanks

Not to rain on your parade, but rumor has them going to DC... they may revive the Senators... for the 3rd time

If they do choose Washington, a name I often use is Washington Filibusters.

I want a team here in NoVa, and Dulles has the land to make it happen too. Freaking DC doesn't need another team. |

In the NPBL, they have the Virginia Cannons, which I think is awesome...
The Atlantic Fleet is based in Norfolk - the biggest naval base in the world, I believe (or atleast in the Atlantic)... so you could go with an old minor league name, the Cruisers. I had a friend with the Virginia Crusaders before. In my long-time solo league, I have the Virginia Stallions. |

Thanks, folks, I have some good ideas to chew on... I really, really like the Las Vegas Aces logo -- that is way cool... My selection committee may have to take that into consideration...
Keep 'em coming... (I, too, thought about reviving the Senators in D.C.) --> any other ideas for places to either move an existing franchise or expand MLB as my dynasty moves forward over the next 20-30 years? Which current franchises would be the first to move? Thanks |

1. I think the Expos will move to DC. The name should be either Senators or Ambassadors.
2. Teams I see moving in the next 20-30 years are Pittsburgh, Tampa Bay, San Diego and Milwaukee. 3. New locations could be Las Vegas, Virginia, Vancouver, Mexico. Just my
