NABA Looking for 1 Excellent Owner

The NABA has just finished our 5th season, and have moved into the OOTP6 era. One of our owners decided to not upgrade to version 6, and so we now have an opening.

The Anaheim Angels are now available. They had a bit of a horrid record in 2007, but the good comes with the bad. They will select 2nd in our next amateur draft, and have a good farm club.

The NABA Features the following:
3 Live Sims a week on AIM, with typically over a third of the league in attendance
BOSI and Cato being used
Over a year of history, with a good number of original owners and a great crew owners in general
Fairly Active Message Board

What we ask of new owners
You MUST own the game
You MUST be willing to export your lineups
You MUST NOT be a KEWL DEWD

Be sure to jump in on this league. I've been an owner for a season and a half and it's one of the more dedicated leagues around. Project teams are always fun as well.

Great league and very active. Commish is by far the best I've seen in any league. This league is a must join.

Probably one of the best run leagues. I was an original owner, left for time constraint reasons and then when I had some time, was lucky enough to get back in. Great owners and lots of fun, especially at live sims. Take a look at our forum, where you will notice we have very active discussions and even a trade review section. We have a Rules Committee, I think

, and any suggestion to help the league are welcomed. You will not be disappointed if you join.

Bumping with a small change.

We filled the Angels right away from this post, but it now looks like our Phillies owner is going AWOL, so with FA starting in less then 2 days, I am looking for one more new owner. The Phillies went 80-82 last year, and seem to have a pretty bright future....

The great things I said about the NABA have not changed

Just have to give this league a little recognition. By far one of the best commish's out here in the OOTP land and very active GM's make this league one of my favorites. If you are lucky enough to grab this last spot, welcome and hopefully you will have as much fun as I have.

First off, I would like to welcome Erich to the league, and let all the OOTP world know that I look forward to seeing the Phils keep those pesky Expos down...

However, I have some more news..

Looks like the grim reaper is cutting through our league right now, as we had our 3rd original owner step down due to a lack of time in the near future.

The Seattle Mariners are open, and have one possibly the best pitcher in the league. We are about to run F/A Days 7-10 tonight (Thursday), so if you are interested in this league, and have read the above disclaimer about who we are looking for, let me know, either via email at mrbornac@gmail.com , via aim at MRBornac, or on this message board via private message.

The Boston Red Sox and the Seattle Mariners are available.

We are going to process F/A days 11-15 tonight, 16-20 Saturday night, 21-25 on Sunday night, and 26-30 on Monday night.

After a good interview, I am happy to say we are down to just having the Latte sucking Seattle Mariners open, looking for a new owner.

This housetrained franchise, in a nice new stadium and with a good core of pitchers, is in need of a kind, warmhearted owner to take them over and meld them in their own image.
