Batter batting on wrong side

Either I'm going crazy, and I'm seeing things, or this isn't an issue for anybody else. I couldn't find it in this forum, so it must be one of these things.

It seems that my right hand batters stand at the right of the plate looking out (so are batting left) and vice versa. By 'stand at the right of the plate', I mean that they're name and picture are placed to the right of the plate.

I first noticed this when my switch hitters seemed to be batting right handed to righties and left handed to lefties. I thought it might be a problem with switch hitting, but then noticed this for all my batters.

1. Does anyone else have this? Is it a recognised bug?

2. Does it matter? i.e. is this just the visual representation going awry, and as far as the game's engine is concerned, they are batting from the correct side? How do you know?

3. Am I actually seeing things?

Have you checked the coordinates in the Edit Ballpark screen? I had a similar problem and finally figured out that's what was wrong.

Cheers, mate. That fixed it.

I was using a set of fictional ball parks that had the coordinates the wrong way around. So I switched them, and there you go.

I assume that it doesn't really affect the way the game engine sees the players i.e. it still considers lefties to be lefties even if they're visually represented as righties ...

I am 99.9% sure that this is the case.
