Anyone Ever See
A runner get picked off a base when attempting to steal? I have not and was wondering if it was included in the game.

Pick offs are not in the PbP (at least to my knowledge) any instance of CS is recorded as a C-Middle Infielder play by the game.

But is it possible that if you have a runner on 3rd, select hit & run and the batter misses the pitch that the runner might be safe at home? I've done a few 1st&3rd or bases loaded H&R plays where the batter missed and my runner was toast at the plate. Just wondering if it were possible that sometimes a runner might be safe at home in such a situation, or if the program is set up so that a H&R runner coming from 3rd on a swinging strike is always out. |

I was just picked off 1st base. This OOTP5 i'm talking about. I wasn't trying to steal. I was just swinging away and the guy on 1st gets picked off. This is only the 2nd game i'v played using OOTP5
