If you are using File Manager (a tool that comes with cPanel) to edit this file, it will ALWAYS add spaces to the end. So, just go to the bottom of the file, and ensure there are no extra spaces there before you save.

Joe,

What I was trying to hint at in another thread was, IF certain features are completed first, I think you'll find more of us will sign up for the support on our end. Can't prove this, of course, and I only speak for myself.

As soon as trade functionality is implemented, I'll sign on board with a full support plan. But until then, it doesn't buy much for our league to purchase anything. Hell, I'll pay for the damn thing in full for whatever you think is a fair price...when it's done. Don't know if that motivates you guys or not.

Also, regarding the BOSI pages that are up and running that you guys posted...do any of them have working reports? I can't really dig any deeper than how pretty the front interface is, and I can't sign up either. I'd love to see what IS available in a working form.

Thanks,

-E

edit: Nevermind. Found a good example of the new program in use.

I hear ya. We did release before we got everything done that we wanted. However, with no support for OOTP6, I figured it was better to have something then nothing. Everything is being stored in the DB, so it really doesn't make sense to wait. Install it and import after each sim so you have the team split stats and the development history stored. Then, as we add the reports and utilities, you just plug them into your existing DB and you're all set.

As for the support plans, I can understand your point of view, and that's fine. We've done our best to support people with install issues to try to get them over the hump and get their setup working, even without support plans. Hopefully, when we get BOSI at least up to the point where v1 was, people will be more inclined to support us.

I for one can tell ya that Joe has helped me out way beyond what he needed to do. His suppot has been great for my nagging questions. But my league is up on bosi and looks good. Cant wait to implement all the other stuff!!!

Yeah, I should also add, before someone misconstrues my line of questioning to Joe here, that he and his company are a top notch outfit.

He's done a ton for me, and has fantastic web hosting services.

I'm just a PITA, is all.

p.s. I still assert that you should've been charging at least a minimal fee for BOSI starting last year, Joe. It's a fantastic program that makes life much easier for both the commish of a league and the league itself.
