license question (installing OOTP6 on 2 machines)

i am going home to see my parents for 3 weeks and will be away from my computer, but will have full access to theirs. my online league is in the process of converting from v5 to v6 and i'm pretty sure that the new file will be released while i am away. my question is, can i download and install OOTP6 while i'm at their house using my license, so that i can check out the new file, submit rosters, etc? or will their be some kind of conflict? thanks for any help.

OOTP comes with two licenses, meaning that it can be installed twice. Should you need more you can contact viatech and they have a reputation of being helpful although sometimes slow to respond. You can also easily unlicense OOTP6 by right clicking on an OOTP icon, going to e-license control, and press unlicense. That'll allow you to install it again even if you've already done it twice.

But if read your post right, you shouldn't have any problems. I'd suggest unlicensing once your done with your Parents house if you don't have much need to have OOTP6 on their computer.

thanks for the reply. i had to reinstall OOTP6 once on my own computer when i upgraded my OS. so the process should be unlicense my game before i leave, license and use it there then unlicense, and re-license my own when i get back? they live 3000 miles away from me in pittsburgh, so i will have no use for the game on their comp when i am done.

Yes, exactly. If it's only on one machine currently, you don't even have to unlicense it before going.

If you lost one license in the upgrade, email Viatech and they will reset if for you ASAP (generally within a day)
