One Out To Play

You know, like it's the bottom of the ninth, two outs?

Can we all agree on one meaning? I think you guys are making fun of me.

Someone in a chat room told me it meant "Open outside the Park" like those magazines you buy at a game with the plastic wrappers so others don't get offended. But that didn't make no sense.

I'm trying really hard to figure out how to make "Funniest Thread Of All Time" fit into the letters "OOTP."

somehow I find that statement hard to believe. Since I counted atleast 5 references to Out of the Park Baseball on the page you clicked on to created this thread, not counting the many references to it that you had to wade through to even get to this page.

As an OOTP playing baseball fan . . .

*Not properly understanding the Infield Fly Rule? Plausable.

*Not being able to calculate slugging percentage properly? Excusable.

*Wondering exactly who this Ruth chick in "The House that Ruth Built" is? Stupidity.

*Posting on the OOTP forums swearing blind you don't know what OOTP stands for? Just plain hilarious.

We need to petition Markus to name the game "Open Outside the Park Baseball."

I think that 643gdp is just yanking all your chains. He's been around since 12/2001 (albeit very few posts), so he's not exactly a newbie.

If the question was posted in all seriousness... well, that's just plain sad on a couple of different levels.

Ha! Nice job, 643gdp

Guys, this fella has been around since OOTP2.

Here is some trivia for you: 643gdp made the first forum post here, not counting Markus and ScottVib!
