2004 Roster set for OOTP4

I recently created a Lahman 4.5 based roster set for OOTP 4 for the 2004 season.

The rosters contain the actual 2003 statistics.

If there is anyone that wants a 2004 roster set with actual 2003 stats for OOTP4, let me know.

Well, the file is fairly large (over 4 MB) so I am going to need to find a host for the file.

I have all the 2004 rosters set and a schedule generated.

Just need a place to put the file.

The problem is sending it.

Currently, I have an email limit of 3 MB. The season file is 4.5 (zipped).

I am working on getting some space on my website to post it with a link.

I hope to have this done by the end of the day. When I do I will post the link here.

Umm, this .zip file is only 1 meg not 3.5

The 4.5 mb was the actual csv files, not the roster file. Sorry for the confusion (good thing you weren't complaining - ha ha)

Hey Speedy, I've tried to download your 2004 files but they aren't working. All of the other downloads seem to work except for both 2004 files. Do you think you could email me the roster or is their anywhere I can dl them? Thanks.

There has been a lot of traffic lately so perhaps that is the problem.

Yeah, it must just have been the traffic. I was just able to download the basic roster but the raw data is still not coming up. I'll keep trying.

Okay, I just got a chance to check the league out and it looks pretty impressive. Since I guess you had already started the league there were some big transactions that I guess were done by the AI (I'm looking at the Braves roster right now and they have Kevin Brown) but all that can be fixed easily. You should really submit these to Baseballsimcentral so that if your site is acting funny the files are still available. Just a suggestion. But anyway, thanks and great job!

I have been working on all kinds of rosters for both baseball and basketball (as you can see listed on my site).

As far as Kevin Brown on the Braves, that was proably from AI making that deal when I was testing the rosters for statistical realism.

As far as "start of 2004 rosters", those are as close as you're going to get. If you are referring to the name I assign to it, that's just a matter of semantics. I may make a modified roster when the trading deadline passes (at that time, I will name it treading deadline rosters). But I am not going to change it on a frequent basis.
